Surprise in our mailbox today!!

A couple weeks ago on Veteran's Day, we wrote to 5 different Veteran's and thanked them for their service. Today was a special day for us...we got a letter back!!

The kids were SO beyond excited and listened to me read the letter with such focus. It was a really neat experience and the kids each got a pencil to keep at school to remind them of our freedom.

Thank you CWO3 Mike Lovell. You made our day!

We are Bucket Fillers!!

For our Preventions Dimensions lesson, we read "How Full is Your Bucket?"

We then talked about how to fill other people's buckets. Each student pulled another students name out of a jar and got to write one very nice thing about that person on a water drop. We filled our class bucket clear full!!
