Week of February 24th - 28th

Thank you so much for attending SEPs. I know it was a lot to take in, but these last couple of months we need to really push, as we are testing early (mid April) this year.

Here is what is happening this week:
Reading:             We will be working on quotation marks and capitals.
Baggie books will be sent home again.
Spelling:            High Frequency List #7 is enclosed.
Math:                We have started geometry (Topic 15) and will be testing on it this week. Please be sure to review the work each night with your child, as we will be going pretty quickly through these next topics.

YPP:      We will take our Benchmark #2 test this week. If students score a 80% or higher on this benchmark test they will get to go to the YPP party.
We have 137 green dots. Our new class goal is 145 green dots by March 30th. Each student has made an individual goal and will be rewarded if he/she reaches it each week. YPP can be done at home as well. Email me for instructions if they have been misplaced.

We will be taking Benchmark #2 YPP test next week. Students will get to go the YPP party if they score 80% on this test. Working on exercises on YPP at home will help them achieve this.

Thank you, and have a good week!
