Our Masterpiece
Today we read "A Bad Case of Stripes" and discussed the theme of the story is that we are all unique and that is what makes the world a beautiful place. Each student traced his/her hand, then we placed them together to form a beautiful flower.
Magical Year
Today we talked about ways to make our year magical. I showed the kids a pretty cool math magic trick and they came up with ways to help our class have a "magical year". My personal favorite was "do what Mrs. S says" :)
